The Blessings of Jacob----an Oracle*

Then Jacob [His chosen] summoned his sons and said, "Assemble yourselves that I may tell you what shall befall you in the days to come. Gather together and hear, O sons of Jacob; and listen to Israel your father...

"Joseph is a fruitful bough,

a fruitful bough by a spring;

his branches run over the wall.

The archers fiercely attacked him,

shot at him, and harassed him

sorely;

"Yet his bow remained unmoved,

his arms were made agile

by the Mighty One of Jacob

(by the name of the Shepherd,

the Rock of Israel),

by the God of your father who will help you

with blessings of heaven above,

blessings of the deep that couches

beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

"The blessings of your father are mighty beyond the blessings of the everlasting hills;

may they be upon the head of Joseph, and on the brow of him who was separate from his brothers."

_________________________ *Terah was an Aramaic tribal chief living on the outskirts of Ura, a metropolitan city and port of the city state of ancient Ura; Aramaeans belonged to a family of related Semitic peoples called the Amurri, or Amorites; thus the Canaanites, or Ken’anites, were kin to the Hebrews; the Amorites of Babelen (before its destruction by the Hittites) were also related; some groups were desert tribes and nomadic, dependent on animal husbandry, while others such as the Amorites of Mari, Babelen, and Akkad were highly urbanized and agricultural.

**Abraham received a Covenant call from God; instructed to leave Ura, he journeyed with his father Terah to Hauran where they lived until Terah died; then Abraham journeyed with his wife and servants to the land promised to him and his descendants by the Covenant God. God was deliberately singling out and creating a new people to follow a unique, monotheistic path He had set for them in a world of polytheism. His people gave him many names--El Elyon (The Most High God), El Shaddai (The Almighty), Adonai (Lord)--but God’s name for himself was the awe-inspiring and epochal “I AM.” (made known to Moses when he specifically asked God’s name before he would agree to obey his summons to go down to confront the Pharaoh for the sake of the oppressed Hebrew people).

Upper case names after Terah indicates the line of Hebrew patriarchal succession, or those who received the patriarchal authority (later known as the Birthright, though in a number of cases being firstborn did not automatically lead to the Patriarchy).

Some Reasons Why Joseph Was Thrown in a Well by His Brothers

As Joseph left his old father Jacob at Hebron to go find his brothers, his story--the one by which he comes down to us as a savior of his people--began with some complications involving wealth, inheritance rights, and the dark side of human nature.

In those days, when nomads had overrun the lands of the Ken’anites and it was in great need of revival, lived a certain chief of nomads, Jacob. His father was Isaac whose father was Abram (or Abraham, which means “Father of a Multitude)”) whose father was Terah. Now Terah was originally a nomad, born of the desert tribes civilized people like the Sumerians and the Akkadians commonly referred to as “sand ramblers” or “sand devils,” after a certain, audacious plant that pulled up its roots and roamed the wilderness looking for a bit of moisture in which to transplant itself.

Starting in the vicinity of the Sumerian metropolis of Ura at the mouth of the Euphrates River, Terah and his family rambled all the way north to the Fields of Aram, at least a thousand miles, where Terah eventually died of extremely old age. His son Abram was just as rootless. In response to the call of God (a call received at Ura), he had gone to Hauran; finally, he resumed the call to go to the land promised by God to him and his descendants, Ken’an.

Moving about the land from place to place, he finally settled at Hebron in the south part, where he headquartered his flocks, servants, and goods (all equally numerous). He was as wealthy, in fact, as many kings together.

Hebrew wealth tended to stick close to the patriarchal line of succession too*.

Abraham’s grandson was even richer, if that was possible. He sired twelve sons just to manage his holdings. He had two wives, then added two others who were handmaids to his wives. The first two wives fought constantly, since they were sisters and one was far more beautiful and beloved of Jacob than the other. When their two handmaidens were enlisted in the fray, that they might bear sons to Jacob in the contest to gain his favor and the upper hand, whatever peace Jacob might have known was blown away forever.

Jacob was not guiltless. It wasn’t wrong for him to take so many wives; it was how he dealt with his sons that really got him in trouble. But the treatment he awarded or “unrewarded” his sons can be traced back to his treatment of his brother Esau, the firstborn of Isaac. He alienated his elder brother a while back by stealing his birthright, which was the right of the firstborn son tot he major portion of their father Isaac’s wealth. Patriarchal and Covenant blessing and authority also went with the birthright, it would appear. Though Jacob, by God’s direct intervention, survived Esau’s initial anger and a reconciliation of sorts was achieved between the two brothers, Jacob went on to stir up worse sources of trouble for himself. His wives (two competing sisters, then two competing handmaids) were one prime source. His favoritism for Joseph was another.

Joseph was Jacob’s eleventh son by his second wife, which meant he was far from any claim to the birthright, which belong by birth to Reuben the firstborn, son of Leah who also happened to be Jacob’s First Wife. If being eleventh was not bad enough, he was the son of Jacob’s second wife. Though Rachel was beloved by Jacob more than Leah, she was still second. It was quibbling on his part if he protested that he had been tricked into marrying Leah first (which was true, but beside the point in that society). With two strokes against him, Joseph was as good as last, as far as legal inheritance was concerned.

Jacob, however, was a nomad through and through. Civilized people did things in legal, linear, commonly accepted ways. Nomads survived by finding ways around obstacles. Heedless of such niceties, Jacob cast all fatherly love and favor on the youthful, beardless, prospectless Eleventh, passing over two very angry and resentful, full-grown and bearded men who hated the very ground Joseph walked on from that time on.

Now this is not to say that Joseph’s brothers were white as lamb’s wool in the matter. It was quite possible that the folly of Jacob really began with Reuben, who made sure that his father would look upon him with loathing whenever their paths crossed. Reuben had seduced Jacob’s handmaid-wife, pretty Bilhah. But even before his hasty act, his two younger brothers, next in line, had fatally erred in Jacob’s sight. Simeon and Levi were bold and scheming fellows, and they tricked the city of Shechem into a mass circumcision after the son of the king seduced their sister Dinah and then sought to marry her. When all the men and boys lay helpless in their beds, Simeon and Levi had taken hired men and fallen upon them with sheep shearing knives. Of course, the excuse was that they were avenging Dinah’s rape, but Jacob knew better. He knew Dinah mattered nothing to them. Rather, they had seized the chance to make themselves independently wealthy men, by taking seizing all the cattle and goods of the massacred Shechemites.

But was this massacre not the usual thing between nomads and civilized people? No one of that day should have been surprised by it. The Shechemites had brought it on themselves by trusting the sons of Jacob, many people must have said at the time. Jacob, however, knew that Shechem, for the Ken’anites, was the last straw. Everyone would forget his sons and attach his name to the crime. As a byword for treachery, all Ken’an could be expected to rise up in arms against him--a lone, domestically-inclined tribal chieftain who lacked his grandfather Abraham’s fighting prowess.

Since his sons’ act at Shechem cast Jacob’s life expectancy to the winds, he had good reason to pass over such violent and greedy sons and fix on a favorite farther down the line. After Shechem, who (other than his own sons) could blame him?

Hoping to turn such sorrows into joy, he might have chosen the fourthborn, Judah. He was a promising son from birth because he was so strong and vigorous in mind and body. None of the brothers could win over him a fight, for he matched cunning with strength quite in the sway a lion matches such things. He was too smart to destroy a helpless city, for instance, at the risk of his inheritance. That is not to say he felt any compassion for the Shechemites, once the deed was done. If he had been asked, he would have gained Shechem’s wealth without bloodshed, but as a fourthborn he was not asked how to achieve a non-violent end of Shechem.

What, then, did Jacob eschew when he looked upon his fourthborn? Judah was strong, manly, and more intelligent than need be. He was the likely choice to succeed the foolish Reuben to the birthright. But the quiet-living, soft-handed Jacob must have shuddered once too often when he glanced into the fourthborn’s eyes and saw--not a man--but a lion waiting his opportunity. Loving the peace and safety he and his sons were forever driving out of reach, Jacob passed on down the line, weighing his sons on one hand the precious inheritance of the birthright on the other.

When Judah saw he was passed over, life became unhealthy for his father, moreso than it was when he passed over the others. Reuben had no guts to retaliate. Judah, knowing he was wronged, fully intended to let the final choice for the birthright know how wrong Jacob was. He would have loved to leap on the four sons Jacob begat on the handmaids, but, fortunately for them, Jacob quickly dismissed them from consideration, if, indeed, he ever considered them.

When the rivals Leah and Rachel handed over their handmaids to Jacob, they thought little of the consequences in their desire to gain the upper hand in Jacob’s affections and household. Providing sons--however it was done--was all they intended. But what sons! Gad, Dan, Napthali, and Asher--they were but the most bitter offscourings of their mothers’ contentions. Nothing good could come of the four half-brothers.

Being no fool in judging sheep and men, Jacob looked elsewhere down the line for his favorite. Passed over, the miserable, divided souls of the handmaids’ sons were consumed with hatred as they looked upon Leah’s fifth son, Issachar, born of the precious mandrakes she had exchanged with her rival for another chance at Jacob’s bed.

Leah considered herself very fortunate when Issachar came of her handy bargain with Rachel, for a sixth son, Zebulun, soon followed. But she was mistaken in them, if she thought they had gained her any special favor. Jacob, when the time came to dispose the greatest blessing he had, passed them over too. If Judah had too much self-serving and intelligence for his own good (and the strength to make him all the more dangerous), Leah’s fifth and sixth had too little of either category. When Jacob gazed upon them, he saw a pair of oxen, worthy to bear the yoke but not much else. Utterly lacking spark, they would never be fit leaders of men, not to mention the Hebrew people.

The exchange of mandrakes proved the turning-point in the Rachel’s fortunes, though at the time Leah had seemed to reap advantage. Now Rachel had proved barren all these years while Leah trotted out one son after another. Mandrakes were plants that were supposed to produce progeny. No one knew exactly how the plants worked, but there were enough testimonials circulating in women’s tents to prove that the mere touching of one would insure a successful conception. After all, it had worked countless times for other women in related tribes, so Rachel knew it had to work for her. She bargained with Leah for the next batch of mandrakes her sons had found for her in a field. Taking them into her tent, she kept them for herself. Whatever she did with them, they worked. She bore her first son to Jacob, and he was named Joseph, which means “adding,” for she knew intuitively that this was no Issachar or Zebulun and she had gained favor (or “increase”) in Jacob’s eyes. She paid for the favor. She died bearing her second son, Benjamin. Dying, since she saw she was out of the race with Leah, she wanted to name him something that meant the opposite of “adding”--Benomi, or “son of my sorrow,” but Jacob intervened with “Benjamin,” “Son of my right hand.”

Jacob’s re-naming of Benjamin was truly prophetic, as it turned out. Benjamin would ultimately become Jacob’s favorite after Joseph was taken away and believed dead by the father. But while Joseph yet lived in Jacob’s tents, he was to be the favorite. Jacob’s eye had finally come to rest, on the Eleventh, and there were many good reasons why the final choice of the Jacob was no mistake.

It was the Patriarch, the holy leader of God’s Chosen People the Hebrews, who chose Joseph to be first among his brothers, when to all appearances another great wrong of Jacob’s was being perpetrated on his long-suffering, hopelessly divided family. God Himself confirmed Jacob’s choice in granted the boy Joseph two dreams which said the same thing: You are first, Joseph; even your father and mother will bow to you!

But others looked at it differently. In their blindness, Joseph’s brothers (not including the baby, Benjamin) saw only Jacob the erring man in his decision and acted accordingly. In their blindness, they could not see he had chosen their very savior. Provoked beyond the endurance of human nature and inspired by greed, they set a trap, hoping to catch Joseph in an out-of-the-way corner of Ken’an and murder him.

It is an irony that he would escape their snare alive and they would be caught at a future date by their prey. It is a supreme irony that the harm they did to him was turned into saving grace by which they and their families survived the world famine, for it was Joseph that became their provider.

By all this it is apparent that Joseph’s brothers were their own worst enemies and that spiders are, in a sense, wiser. For when is a spider ever caught in his own web?

Note on the Gate of Sychar and Jacob’s Well (AKA “Yakob’s Well”)

Since this gate and well were later located on Atlantis, they could not be the originals in Palestine in the Middle East that the Biblical account describes in both the Old and New Testaments. Certain events, however, took place at both Sychars that parallel each other closely. A difference, however, is the Atlantean gate of Sychar furnished the site where the Noahdiah the Jewess and her widow friend were taken and tried before the elders of Samaria. Yakob’s Well? In the Chronicles the Messiah, Yeshua of Nazareth, met a certain Samaritan woman there and she became the first convert of the Samaritan church. Long before this time, however, someone had referred to old tablets of a book preserved in stone and found mention of forefathers of the Samaritan people and religion. The supposed forefather was Yakob, who was a real person of considerable substance, being a Hebrew chieftain in fact during the Patriarchal Period. Being a pious person, the man re-discovering this bit of religious heritage and claiming it for Samaritan heritage applied Yakob’s revered name to the well just outside the gate of Sychar.

_____________________ *An exception may have been Jacob; his flight to Hauran to escape Esau’s wrath after stealing his birthright and his subsequent years of residence with his uncle Laban have brought him much trouble and worry; meanwhile, back at his father’s camp, in Jacob’s absence Esau was awarded the firstborn’s double portion plus the émigré brother’s portion by default; yet God’s favor (“Jacob I love, Esau I hate,” said God) more than recompensed Jacob in Hauran for the loss of the material part of the birthright; when the brothers met Jacob smoothed the path of reconciliation with many rich gifts of valuable animals from his huge herds. Whatever Esau believed, Jacob possessed the birthright until his death many years later, and he grew many times richer than Esau, proving that the material blessing of the birthright had also fallen in his lap by God’s grace.

The War of Heaven and the Guardian of the Stones

The beginning of the great War that spread throughout the Universe(s) involved all the higher species and finally the terrestrial worlds with their inhabitants. It began in the mind and heart of an archangel, of the highest orders of angels.

Lucifer, Guardian of the Stones of Fire, found that he could no longer keep private his great self-discovery, to wit, he was equal to the Creator God. The god within his resplendent breast was just as great, it seemed to him, as the God without. Splendid he was. No one could gainsay the fact. The Creator God had favored Lucifer above not only his fellow archangels but the entire creation. But was he equal? It was a question that grew and grew until it enflamed the whole Universe.

Lucifer had always been golden-tongued, the original Chrysotom. Drawing uncountable myriads of angels over to his point of view, Lucifer decided to seize his main chance by supplanting the “tired old Godhead, ” grown “Ancient of Days,” with his own presumably vital new one. Yet the Archangel Michael and two thirds of the higher species remained loyal and fought the Usurper. The war brought catastrophe to all and everything.

Now if the Creator God had stepped down and let Lucifer take charge, much agony and destruction might have been spared. Just where the Almighty might have retired was unknown, since He was thought to be omnipresent. He did not choose to abdicate, but neither did he declare war and personally squelch the malefactor with omnipotent power. Something close to pacifism was his will--or, "give him enough rope and he will hang himself"? Despite the actions of the loyalists, He never officially espoused their cause. That was one reason the battle grew so protracted. No one, on either side, quite knew the feelings of the Almighty on the basic strategies of warfare. It seemed, though he had the option of employing omnipotence, that he might be operating from a position of weakness--though for what objection, no one could say.

Lucifer was the only one sure enough of himself to press the contest to a conclusion. As he fought, worlds and star systems were devastated. Numberless thriving planets had their atmospheres stripped away. They were scorched and turned uninhabitably toxic and volcanic or left frozen, dead worlds. Destroying everything he could not keep, Lucifer backed fighting through the Universe, star by star, leaving a barren wilderness behind to the victors--the original “scorched earth strategy.”

As he retreated, in the midst of confusion and chaos, a Stone of Fire--the Sardius--slipped from his possession. Embued with his character and great intelligence, though possessing its original powers, it flew off beyond the war zone and began its long, solitary journey, apparently slipping somehow into the parallel creation. Some old accounts also maintain that Lucifer himself hid away in the Stone, compressing his majesty into a worm-like shape, much like a worm hides itself in the innermost parts of a rosebud. Or if not the archangel, was it his own wicked heart that the Stone possessed and took away?

It is remarkable how much concerning these events has disappeared from the memory of man on both worlds. On might think they had never happened, from the little that has been preserved or allowed to come to the public eye

A few wise human beings realized, however, how forgetful the race was and how arbitrarily and persistently it recalled the dullest things while letting spectacular, dramatic dramas slip away into obscurity. Over eight thousand years after the fall of Atlantis, a priest in the ancient land of Misr (Mizraim to the Hebrews) said to Solon, the greatest lawgiver and wiseman of Hellas (called Greece by the modern world), that mankind was apt to forget everything learned in the past. He criticized Hellas of the Hellenes, a relative newcomer on the world scene.

"In my mind you [Hellenes] are all young; there is no old opinion handed down among you by ancient tradition, nor any science that is hoary with age. And I will tell you the reason...there have been and will be again many destructions of mankind arising out of many causes...thus you have to begin all over again as children; and know nothing of what happened in ancient times among us or among yourselves...In the first place, you remember one deluge only, whereas there were many of them."

Now this priest perhaps knew of his own temple archives, in which accounts were preserved for the ages. It is quite possible much of Earth’s early story was destroyed by warring armies and even fearful priests, who sensed the danger to their priestly powers and prerogatives such records might contain if they became known to the crude sensibilities of the people they lorded it over.

Yet it was the priests of Misr on Earth who informed educated Hellenic dignitaries of the once-existent Atlantis. After the passage of so many millennia, how could they have told about it unless there had existed records?

The Atlantis spoken of by Plato was an island continent--not Crete, which was well-known to Plato and other educated Greeks. Like a small island off Crete's northern coast that sank or was blown up by a volcano, Atlantis was submerged by volcanism driven by tectonic plate shifting. Its civilization had became evil and corrupted beyond cure. Yet some memories die hard, even if others of major importance vanish. It is quite possible the Titans and gods of Greek mythology were Atlantean lords and ladies. All sorts of feats and great powers were attributed to them. Atlantean nobles may have become the Olympian gods to the Hellenes or Greeks because they were thought to reside, as a kind of extended family, on Mount Olympus in northern Greece. With really no substance other than fading human memory, few intelligent people actually believed in them any more by the time of Christ. Their behavior, often described as lustful, ignoble, selfish, and cruel, was thought too human to be truly divine. As for the Titans, the Greeks believed they had been defeated by the Olympians and were chained up in various out-of-the-way places like the underworld and the Caucasus. Dante, no friend of fallen Titans, despite the supposed gift of fire to man by Prometheus the Titan, placed them in the lowest circle of Hell.

Excerpt from St. John the Divine’s Revelation of Jesus Christ

Then the third angel sounded: and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters; and the name of the star is Wormwood*; and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Then the fourth angel sounded: and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened; and a third of the day did not shine; and likewise the night. And I [John] looked, and I heard the angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels which are about to sound.”

---Revelation 8: 10-13 (NKJ)

Oracle Concerning the Covering Cherub [Guardian] of the Stones of Fire*

Thou has been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold; the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of god; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned; therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God; and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. --Exekiel 28: 13-17 (KJV)

*Stolen by the “Covering Cherub” Archangel Lucifer (identified in the New Testament scriptures as Thief, Murderer, and Adversary), the Sardius was lost in the chaos and confusion of lost battles of the War of Heaven and began to wander the Universe; displaying cryptozoic and clandestine tendencies, it acted as a stone of world dominion and doom; perverted by contact with the fallen archangel, it became the most destructive influence affecting Earth II before and after the Re-location to 3C 295, a Galactic Cluster about 7 billion light-years from Earth’s former location in the Local Galactic Supercluster.

** Metallic and rare on Earth, it is a transparent gem in Heaven and is found throughout celestial places in buildings, clothing, flowers, as common sand, and so on, as the Chrysalithos, or Gold-stone.

*** Said to be the Carbuncle loaned to Noah and used to light the vast interior of the Ark during the Universal Flood; thought to be fluor spar, which glows like radium in the dark; also called the Arkstone. The Carbuncle appeared with the Onyx in the time of Hanna; later became the prize Arkstone in the virtual reality quest of the second ARGO. This, and all the others, evidenced chronic schizophrenic tendencies; the star-stones were driven by need for self-display and self-adulation, yet were equally driven by a “passion” for hiding themselves from the light in the deepest darkness and obscurity they could find. This splitting of their psychologies explains the amazing disparity in their natures, as if two different characters resided in the same entity.

**** One jewel of the Most High, the Eleventh, was not lost to Lucifer. The jewel composes the twelve Gates of Heaven and is Pearl (Revelations of St. John the Divine, 21:21). One tradition is that the jewel-gates are composed of the nacre, not of oysters, but of the saints of God, who shed tears of suffering for the sake of Christ, with righteousness and purity being formed in them thereby (Hebrews 12: 11). God kept the godly tears in the “bottle” referred to in a Davidic psalm, considering them very precious, and made the twelve gates of the accumulated tears of the saints all down through the ages. These were all accounted shed for the establishing of the Heavenly Jerusalem, their chief joy.

***** There is thought to be another inviolate crown jewel, the Twelfth, but if so it is not known to anyone but God. Some think it may be the White Stone that the Mahsiah, the Anointed One, the Christ, “the Head and Source of every grace and virtue,” awards to His redeemed ones, the “overcomers” (Revelations 2:17). On the White Stone, or White Jewel, is written a name known only to God and the one who receives the jewel from Christ’s hands. Could it be the Jewel of Bridal Ecstasy? Or, if not the White Stone, it may be the “Stone of Rose,” a living flower-jewel. This in its celestial manifestation bears only the slightest resemblance to the crowning flower of terrestrial Earth, whose virtues the poets, mystics and philosophers have long extolled: <>#Chiron the former Blue Centaur, re-created by the Almighty as a Blue Man, then commissioned as the new Keeper of the Fiery Stones; in his robes of office, he appeared as a blue rose and blue star, with a Blue Man at the center.

Title Deed to the Planet Earth (II) and Certain Property

A. The Creator God--"For the world is mine" Before and After Re-Location to 3C 295

The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints unto me: those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High. And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. --Psalm 50: 1-15

C. Title to Earth Deeded by Iskander

Being World-Ruler, Iskander presumed he could sign over his world-state to whomever he thought worthy, and to save his dynasty and not-yet-born heir he signed everything over to the Algol, represented at his deathbed by their ambassador, Lord Polydeuces. This was a bogus title, since the Earth is the Lord’s, a fact that was not understood by the Algol. They did not realize that Earth’s title was never entrusted to the human race, or any other race of beings inhabiting it. Stewardship of its resources was granted the human race, with authority over beasts of the land and creatures of the sea and air. In legal terms, stewardship is never ownership.

D. The Atlantean title to Earth was pure presumption on their part. They may have had some document granted them by Lucifer, in a bid to take full control once he had subverted the human race. This document may have been composed and signed before Atlantis was destroyed, perhaps just before the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden. Lucifer himself had no authority to sign the Earth over to anyone. But the Atlanteans, blind to God’s existence and His dominion over all Creation, could not have appreciated that fact. Besides, they themselves were thralls to him, unwittingly.

Plant Ecology and Geography After Planetary Re-location

I Plant Ecology

A. The result of re-location on ecology--temperature, light, and carbon dioxide concentration were affected.

1. Temperature was greatly affected, but with mitigating influences by the fall of ice and snow.

a. The sudden global freeze of the planet in the first stage of leaving the solar orbit destroyed tropical forests, but the equally sudden descent of the frozen atmosphere insulated the conifers and much of the deciduous forest. Almost all conifers survived re--location, so well were they insulated, and nearly half the deciduous trees. If the freeze had been more gradual, and the insulating snow and ice cover was lacking, it is unlikely even hardy conifers would have lived through the removal, for the global temperature, at least at the surface, fell to minus 200 degrees C.

b. The molten core and warming of the mantle by the interior heat also helped; beneath insulating ice and snow Earth II’s internal heat was trapped and could not dissipate into space.

c. During transit, the buried crust of the planet rose in temperature; at its new site in 3C 295, the stellar gas cloud immediately began to heat the surface; the combination of internal heat and warming by the gas cloud soon melted the surface ice cap, which prevented mass extinctions of plants due to insufficient light and air.

2. Loss of light during the re-location proved no hardship to plant ecology; the transition was experienced as an additional nightfall; the re-locating did not last long and radiation from the 3C 295 gas cloud was sufficiently strong to penetrate the ice cap in most places; melting was also rapid, so plants did not suffer light-deprivation for an extended period; the stellar gas cloud’s radiation was equivalent to a G-compatible star such as Earth II’s had been before the supernova; though somewhat brighter and hotter at 14,000 foot-candles, the gas cloud was often obscured by clouds and most plants adapted without fatal damage; plants utilize about 3% or less of available light, so that even beneath an ice cap any wavelength of light reaching vegetation or plants in the oceans, rivers, lakes, seas, and on land was photo- synthetically effective.

3. Carbon dioxide concentration was seriously affected, but it soon rose to more than ample levels for plant food production; much atmosphere was lost, but the dense, lower regions froze solid and adhered to the surface, the gases surviving the re-location intact; then a new atmosphere formed that was 1/3 or 1/2 reduced initially in density compared to the old atmosphere; the loss of carbon dioxide was soon made up by the still smoldering comet craters and additional widespread tectonic and volcanic activity; carbon dioxide, essential to plant metabolism, made up 0.03 to 0.04 of the air before re-location; it was 0.01 after re- location, but the level soon rose to 0.09, a rate that could increase photosynthesis in some plants.

II. Plant Geography

A. Geographic distributions and populations of plants were affected more radically than with ecology, at least in main aspects.

1. Continents that survived the cometary deluge and re-location were North America (though split into two large island masses), South America (other than the Amazon Basin, which was flooded), and the new island continent of Atlantis.

2. Each continent or continental fragment presented special challenges to plant distribution.

a. The two North Americas, after re-location, warmed; a subtropical climatic zone was introduced as far as the 48th Parallel in lands along the North/South continental rupture; the Arctic polar region, formerly closed off by the northern land mass, was opened to warming currents and the southern oceans; the original ice cap in the North could not be sustained, and over half would melt, raising global oceanic levels by about twenty feet, further shrinking the low-lying coastlands of all continents.

b. South America, reduced by the submersion of the Amazon River Basin, also lost its tropical forests; regeneration, however, was swift once the ice cap melted.

c. Atlantis, newly risen, was a desert of alluvial mud and alkaline wastes until rains and snow and ice run-off cleansed the soils sufficiently of salt for the colonizing of plants from other land masses.

3. The reduction in the number and size of continents and shrinking polar ice cap aided in the warming of the planet’s waters so that the tropical and subtropical zones were greatly extended beyond the Equator.

4. The catastrophic impacts of comets and the continuing high activity of tectonic and volcanic activity also greatly influenced plant geography as well as the world climate.

B. Some effects on subkingdoms Thallophyta and Embryophyta:

1. Thallophyta:

Algae, bacteria, slime molds, true fungi, though in no danger of total extinction, declined in population, in some cases catastrophically, but as the warmer temperatures produced optimal conditions for reproduction the populations quickly recouped their losses and climbed back to old levels, in some cases exceeding old counts before the re-location; the oceanic warming led to proliferation of some algae and a decline in others.

2. Embryophyta:

Mosses, liverworts, hornworts, Tracheata, psilopsids, club mosses evidenced some population declines; horsetails, ferns, and seed plants, Gymnospermae and Angiospermae, differed in that the cone-bearing plants initially sustained fewer losses than the Angiospermae.

a. The gymnosperms lost habitat in the temperate zones as subtropical and tropical zones increased and warmed the climate in the water and land masses affected. With the warming of the polar region (though it existed, it was much reduced in size), gymnosperms moved northward into what had been treeless tundra. Conifer forests soon invaded vast areas of the Far North. Gymnosperms also rapidly colonized the cooler, higher elevations of the new continent, Atlantis, but they were most often preceded by the wind-borne spores of Thallophyta.

b. Angiosperms, though less hardy, regenerated from seed that had already matured before the re-location. Germination, growth and reproduction had to wait until the global ice cap melted and an atmosphere re-formed, which set them at a disadvantage to the gymnosperms, which largely survived the freeze without die-off; yet the availability of habitat on the new continent was, for a time, much greater for the angiosperms than the slower-germinating and growing gymnosperms; within a few years the entire continent was covered, not with forests, but many varieties of the monocotyledonae (grasses, sedges, lilies) and dicotyledonae (violets, sunflowers, buttercups, petunias); those two subclasses of angiosperms quickly colonized the available soils, but plants such as trees, palms, orchids, elms, maples, oaks, willows, tulips, roses, and others took considerably more time to establish themselves.

Definitions

1. Planet Greek word for “Wanderer”; thought to be formed from the protoplanetary-disk material that surrounds a new star; named “wanderers” because planets visibly moved in the heavens, while stars (visibly) did not.

2. Pyramid Greek word meaning “fire in the middle”’; thought to be a tomb for Egyptian (or Mizraimite) rulers; also thought to be cenotaphs built as part of a complex of funerary magic for the cult of the pharaoh (per-aa), all designed to insure the pharaoh’s immortality as divine son of gods and a peer among the gods.

3. Titans From Ancient Greek and Pre-Greek Sources, a family of lesser or demi-gods; famed for colossal size and superhuman strength, beauty, and ability; to be like them was to be “titanic”; this race of superhumans fought with God for control of natural forces, but were defeated when their continental homeland was destroyed and submerged by the sea; thought to be, originally, Atlanteans, lords of the lost continent, Atlantis, a race that appeared godlike in the human memory of later civilizations, sometimes also known as Othrysians after Mt. Othrys in Greece.

4. Stephanos Greek word for “Victory Crown”; mentioned by St. John the Divine in the Revelations as a reward for the overcoming, faithful believer in Christ

Oracle Concerning Mizraim*

Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Mizraim; and the idols of Mizraim will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Mizraimites will melt within them.

And I will stir up Mizraimites against Mizraimites, and they will fight, every man against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; and the spirit of the Mizraimites within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their plans; and they will consult the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the wizards; and I will give over the Mizraimites into the hand of a hard master; and a fierce king will rule over them, says the Lord, the Lord of hosts.

And the waters of the Ioteru will be dried up, and the river will be parched and dry; and its canals will become foul, and the branches of Mizraim's Ioteru will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away. There will be bare places by the Ioteru, on the brink of the Ioteru, and all that is sown by the Ioteru will dry up, be driven away, and be no more.

The fisherman will mourn and lament, all who cast hook in the Ioteru; and they will languish who spread nets upon the water. The workers in combed zarah [flax] will be in despair, and the weavers of fine cotton. Those who are the pillars of the land will be crushed, and all who work for hire will be grieved.

The princes of Ibbatha are utterly foolish; the wise counselors of Per-aa give stupid counsel. How can you say to Per-aa, 'I am a son of the Wise, a son of ancient kings'?

Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you and make known what the Lord of hosts has purposed against Mizraim.

The princes of Ibbatha have become fools, and the princes of Machitha are deluded; those who are the cornerstones of her tribes have led Mizraim astray. The Lord has mingled within her a spirit of confusion; and they have made Mizraim stagger in all her doings as a drunken man staggers in his vomit. And there will be nothing for Mizraim which head or tail, tamar tree branch or reed, may do.

In that day the Mizraimites will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand which the Lord of hosts shakes over them. And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Mizraimites; every one to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose which the Lord of hosts has purposed against them.

In that day there will be five cities in the land of Mizraim which speak the language of Kena'n and swear allegiance to the Lord of hosts. One of these will be called the City of the Moon.

In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Mizraim, and a pillar to the Lord at its border. It will be a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Mizraim; when they cry to the Lord because of oppressors he will send them a savior, and will defend and deliver them.

And the Lord will make himself known to the Mizraimites; and the Mizraimites will know the Lord in that day and worship with sacrifice and burnt offering, and they will make vows to the Lord and perform them.

And the Lord will smite Mizraim, smiting and healing, and they will return to the Lord, and he will heed their supplications and heal them.

In that day there will be a highway from Mizraim to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Mizraim, and the Mizraimite into Assyria, and the Mizraimites will worship with the Assyrians.

In that day Israel will be the third with Mizraim and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, "Blessed be Mizraim my people..." _______________

*Some placenames and terms in the Prophet Isaiah's oracle (found in Chapter l9 of Isaiah in the Bible) have been amended by the Chronicler to correspond with equivalents in the text; the City of the Sun, called Heliopolis by the Greeks and On by Hebrews, is termed Nathasta, City of the Moon, in the first volume of this account. In later times than are chronicled in this work, Nathasta's god will be allied with Pher whose priesthood, after Duamutef's death, becomes more powerful than Nath's; overwhelmed by Pher, Nath passes into obscurity, and his temple and city are thereafter absorbed in Pher's parish. Yet it is in the City of the Moon, Nathasta, that a thriving worship of Joseph's Most High God will arise after visits by the Grand Taty and his wife.

De Casibus Perplexis II, The Pikkardian Papers, Et. Al.

As time went on, the writings attributed to Dr. Pikkard formed only a small part of the mass that accumulated, which ultimately formed the archives Ipu-pheres the temple scribe (reign of Pharoah Khian and Lord Joseph) and also Benohe-pheres, another temple priest, forwarded to Posterity in an earthenware jar. Letters were also transported from Ipu directly, it appears, to Jonathan Harrison Thompkins, who lived in New York City in the latter part of the 20th Century and into part of the 21st. A list of documents (from the jar and in addition to it) is given in Table B.

As with the Ipu-Thompkins-Bertha Mae correspondence, agencies other than human hands must have been involved in transporting the contents of the archival jar, but we have no proof of who it was, and so any reference to the extra-terrestrial courier is omitted, except to mention a quaint Mesopotamian chronicle (from the Mesopotamia of the second Atlantis) that came with the papers. The chronicle consists of some verses, a fragment of what had probably been a large epic poem, the poet telling of a "birdman" called Zu which absconded from a Mesopotamian temple with vases of sacred writings known as the "Tablets of Destiny" and fled with them to the Land of Red and Black, ancient Mizraim on the second Atlantis. In this chronicle the Pikkardian "Tablets of Destiny" are titled, in Atlantean fashion, "The Golden Treasury of Excellent Sayings, Auspicious Rain for the Wise." The Lost Chronicle was not lost in the usual sense. Rather, its author is either anonymous or has been forgotten, and the material has drifted down through the ages without any idea who penned it.

Standing alone, it provides valuable background for the re-emergence of Arab nationalism and religion on the Relocated Earth. Monotheistic, reformist, based on prophetic succession, highly moral, the Isman religion posed a formidable rival to the Hebrews’ faith, though both had much in common, since both claimed Abraham as their father. The chief difference was that the Messiah, for the Arabs, was not seen as Hebrew but Arab, and he was a man, the first of the prophets, not the God-Man, Yeshua. Yeshua, to the Arabs, was a legitimate prophet, but he was a man and but one of a number of prophets, and he was did not share Godhead with God. This satisfied the strict monotheism of the Arabs.

Unless otherwise specified, long before business with Zu the Birdman, the recipients are Earth II inhabitants (refer to Table A). The reader should also note that Dr. Pikkard's papers were photographed, the negatives retained by Cyrus Olson of Minneapolis, New Zeeland, Holland America, and the originals stolen on the flight of the ATLANTIS to Jaffa, Palestine. Anne Kilpaison, the catalytic heir of the Papers, was simultaneously afflicted with the fatal “R” that she had somehow foreseen in her girlish, doggerel scribblings in an old Lamb and Pritchard’s alphabetic psaltery (see Appendix, Vol. III).

Dr. Pikkard's Methodology

Speaking as a scientist, Dr. A. Pikkard stated to his assistant his researches were not random affairs but were geared to two prime objectives:

1. Try to expose the nature and cause of the world-wide decline;

2. Stop the decline by eliminating the cause. ___________ See concluding material in Volume IV appendix on Dr. Pikkard’s researches regarding methodology, only a fragment of his extensive research surviving the Re-Location.

Excerpt from THE STONE

CHORUS * Oh, I’m looking for that stone, the stone that was hewn out of the mountain* I’m looking for the stone that came rolling down through Babylon* I’m looking for that stone that was hewn out of the mountain* Coming down, coming down...He’s the stone that the builders rejected...

The Neo-Roman Empire; Mizraim; Atlantis Nation States; North American Nation States

Table 6

The Great Sea in northern Atlantis saw a number of outstanding civilizations and city states, and chief was the neo-Roman. From Rome the capital the empire stretched from the eastern shore of the island continent to the Stone Gods of the North American hinterland (Mount Rushmore), ruling a captive citizenry of about 70 millions. Chief Atlantean provinces were Iberia, Italia, Etruska, Achaea, Cyrenicia (including Keftiu or Crete), Macedonia, Mizraim, Judaea, Arabia Felix. North American provinces were Provencia, Gaul, Alemannia, Trans-Oxiana (Land Beyond the Sea of Oxus, the sea dividing the two North Americas).

Table 7

Three Kingdoms formed prehistoric Mizraim: the Bee Kingdom of the Delta or Lower Mizraim, the Reed Kingdom of Mid-Mizraim, and the Hawk Kingdom of Upper Mizraim. With Mizraim's most ancient cities, like Ga'arta, in senescent decline, the middle portion was least populated and in the historic period nothing more was heard of it. Its provinces were quietly absorbed by the other two more vigorous kingdoms after unification by Narmer I. By his time of the Hyksos the middle kingdom no longer was named as an honorary part of Mizraim, even though it did not exist. The Two Kingdoms were named instead. After the word "kemi" for river-borne silt, the whole region was often called the Land of Kem. From the color of red desert surrounding the black-silted river valley, the region got another popular name, the Land of Red and Black. Upper Mizraim was also called the White Kingdom, Lower Mizraim was known as the Red Kingdom, after the white and red crowns wore by the respective kingdom's rulers. (On Earth, Mizraim was later called "Egypt" after the Coptic people who formed the original population during the Roman era and afterwards. This name did not take firm hold on Earth II, however, for the traditional name, Mizraim, survived into the modern eras). The population at its height was about four or five million, but these were for much of Mizraim's earlier history well-fed and relatively well-housed in a hot climate requiring no heating of buildings. Having no comparison, this society assumed it was the center of the Universe and nearly proved it.

Beginning with the mouth of the River Ioteru, at the head of the Delta facing the south Atlantic, Mizraim's chief cities were: Avaris (Hyksos Period of Pharaoh Seuseren-Chill Khian), Nathasta, Machitha, Ga'arta, Ibbatha, Tammu (at the First Cataract and the site of the Ioteru-meter), Gerasa (frontier fortress city at the Second Cataract). Beyond lay cities and encampments of the Nubian and Ethiopian peoples--longtime allies and vassal-states of Mizraim. Machitha was the traditional capital of Lower Mizraim (the North), Ibbatha the traditional capital of Upper Mizraim (the South).

Table 8

The island continent of Atlantis had three nations by the time of Homer Bean (Volume III of the Stones of Fire)--east to west: Poseidonia, Heruka, and Ratna.

Heruka-Ratna was an allied constitutional kingdom, with its capital at Multan, the old Ratnan capital in what had been Nubia/Ethiopia above the Third Cataract in the far north. Poseidia was the capital of Poseidonia.

Table 9

North America (south of the Laurentian and Athabascan Shield Glaciers and extending across the Middle Sea to both halves of the split continent, and including Central America) was governed by the Confederate States of America (Amerika). Only the Northwest coast of the Western Island Continent held free, forming the Empire of Kolumbia. Though no longer of former prime importance to the rest of the world, South America (the former Amazon River Basin drowned by the Atlantic) was home for the Argentines, a seafaring, competitive league of commercial, trading city states with adjacent territories, much like those in Renaissance Italy on Earth. Panamania and Venezuela (Little Venice) occupied the remainder.
